Why did you decide to go down the apprenticeship route?
I went to college and felt an apprenticeship was a good route for me so I could get paid and learn at the same time.
Where did you find out about your apprenticeship?
I completed work experience here when I was at college and the manager at the company messaged me to see if I wanted to do an apprenticeship with the company.
How long have you been on your apprenticeship?
I am around 9 months in.
Are you getting support from your employer?
Yes, and I get help with my questions too that my assessor Aaron sets me. Also my manager and colleagues support me if I don’t understand the question.
Have you overcome any challenges since being on your apprenticeship?
I feel like I am more confident with speaking on the phone and I am a more confident person.
What personal skills have you built on during your apprenticeship?
Definitely my people skills , I am better at dealing with other people.
What would you say to other people looking into an apprenticeship?
They are good because you can train alongside employment.
What are your thoughts on the service you have received from AGL Training Ltd?
I really like it; the assessors are really helpful and when I have a question they usually will respond on the same day. Whenever the assessors visit, they are always really friendly.
