We are looking for an assessor who has experience in the following Apprenticeship Standards:

  • Business Administrator L3

  • Customer Service L2 / L3

  • Team Leader or Supervisor L3

  • Operations / Departmental Manager L5

  • Functional Skills in English and Maths


General Duties

The successful candidate will:

·Work with a caseload of 40 learners, visiting learners monthly within their workplace to deliver apprenticeship training.

·Sign learners up onto their apprenticeship programme, including completing all sign-up paperwork with learner and employer.

·Plan for teaching, learning and assessment.

·Use OneFile to encourage the learners to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve their supporting diploma and contribute towards their End Point Assessment.

·With the assistance of BKSB, support and provide tutoring to learners working towards their Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1 and Level 2).

·Carry out progress reviews with the learner and employer every 10 weeks.

·Liaise with employers on a regular basis and keep a record of these meetings.

·Monitor and report on learner progress.

·Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings.

·Promote Safeguarding, British Values, Equality and Diversity and Prevent

·Maintain an annual record of CPD.

·Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by AGL Training Ltd Directors.

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications

  • Hold TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent.

  • Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* - C, or equivalent) in Maths and English.

  • Relevant occupational experience.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners.

  • Full current driving licence.

  • Clear DBS.


Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8.15am - 4.45pm

Friday: 8.15am - 12.45pm

Total Weekly Hours: 36.5
