AGL training Ltd are an independent training provider based in Telford, delivering a variety of apprenticeship programmes across the West Midlands.

We are looking for an qualified Assessor / Trainer with experience in the following Apprenticeship Standards:

​

· Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2

· Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2

 

General Duties

​

The successful candidate will:

​

· Work with a caseload of 40 learners based within the West Midlands.

· Enrol learners onto their apprenticeship programme, including completing necessary paperwork with the learner and their employer.

· Visit learners each month, at their place of work, to carry out training and assessment.

· Plan for teaching, learning and assessment.

· Use OneFile to encourage the learners to build a portfolio of evidence to achieve their supporting diploma and contribute towards their End Point Assessment.

· With the assistance of BKSB, support and provide tutoring to learners working towards their Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 1 and Level 2).

· Carry out progress reviews with the learner and employer every 10 weeks.

· Liaise with employers on a regular basis and keep a record of these meetings.

· Monitor and report on learner progress.

· Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings.

· Promote Safeguarding, British Values, Equality and Diversity and Prevent

· Maintain annual record of CPD.

· Additional duties appropriate to the post as directed by AGL Training Ltd Directors.

 

Skills, Attributes and Qualifications

​

  • MUST Hold TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent

  • Hold a Level 2 qualification (GCSE A* - C, or equivalent) in Maths and English.

  • Have relevant occupational experience

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners

  • Full current driving licence

  • Trustworthy and reliable

  • Clear DBS

 

Working Hours:

​

Monday - Thursday: 8.15am - 4.45pm,

Friday: 8.15am - 12.45pm

Total Weekly Hours: 36.5

​
