Why did you decide to go down the apprenticeship route?
I thought it was a good way of accessing skilled work and learning a trade.
Where did you find out about your Apprenticeship?
Indeed.
What personal skills have you built on during your apprenticeship?
My teamwork skills have got a lot better; I work in a decent sized group of people so my communications skills and time keeping skills are better.
Have you overcome any challenges since being on your Apprenticeship?
Learning new skills, in the nature of my job things can be quite dangerous, so fine tuning my hands on skills is something I have overcome.
What are your thoughts on the service you have received from AGL Training Ltd?
It has been good, the assessor is really good and easy to talk to. I haven’t really had many issues or questions with the work my assessor has set me, but I know if I did, I could ask him.
What would you say to other people looking into an Apprenticeship?
I would encourage them to do it because its an easy transition from school/ college. I think most people don’t realise your skills and knowledge are important and an apprenticeship helps with that.
