£15,000- £18,000 per annum

AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Sales / Contracts Administrator Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Droitwich.

Our clients are market-leading flood experts, they are strong advocates of passive flood defence, where the design of products requires no people and no power to deploy.

The role will be helping a growing office working with the different departments inside the company- working with accounts, sales, contracts and general administration.

Our client currently has two apprentices in their head office who are both doing well and they feel this is the right way to further grow their business and invest in young talent.

The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-18 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards

  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration Skills (RQF)

  • Highfield Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths


General Duties

You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:

  • From order creation, become the person of contact between all departments ensuring that the order moves around the system swiftly, auditing the paperwork to ensure it complies with ISO 9001.

  • Updating of the contracts database and production database accurately and analyse spreadsheets

  • Preparation of client paperwork and installation packs.

  • Preparation of job sheets

  • Liaise with clients to arrange surveys and installation

  • Source competitive price for B&B or overnight accommodation for employees, as required from time to time

  • Monitor customer satisfaction, complaints and Non-Conformance logs and report major issues to the management team.

  • Photo archiving of installations within the specific job folders.

  • Job archiving

  • Document filing (Hard Copy and Electronic Copy)

  • Taking Phone messages with clarity and accuracy

  • Capable (with training) of answering customer enquiries

  • Administrative Housekeeping

  • Photocopying, Facsimile and Email support

  • Any other duties that may be reasonably required.


Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C)

  • Ambitious and willing to learn

  • Confident

  • Polite and friendly

  • Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package

  • Personable

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8 am- 4:30 pm

Total hours paid: 40

Hourly Rate: 15,000-18,000 per annum
