AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Finance Office Administrator Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Droitwich.
Our clients are market-leading flood experts, they are strong advocates of passive flood defence, where the design of products requires no people and no power to deploy.
The role will be helping in a small but growing office working with the Finance Department.
The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-18 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:
Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards
Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration Skills
Functional Skills English and Mathematics Level 2
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
Processing of E Sales Invoices
Matching invoices to payments
Matching delivery notes with purchase invoices
Raising of Purchase Orders-checking purchase order requisitions.
Taking Telephone calls and delivering telephone messages.
Raising new projects in Sage.
Assisting the accounts.
Helping in the organisation of open days with the testing tank facility
Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
· GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C).
· Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
· Attention to detail.
· Polite and friendly.
· Personable and outgoing personality.
· Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package.
Monday – Friday: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm (1-hour lunch)
Total hours paid: 35 hours weekly
Hourly Rate: £8.00
