AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Hortonwood, Telford.

The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards

  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrators (RQF)

  • Highfield Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths


General Duties

You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties.

  • Manage the finance credit applications of the sales team

  • Be the point of contact for the Sales Team in reference to finance credit applications

  • Cross check applications with the CRM system

  • Send out finance credit applications

  • Customer support for finance credit applications including chasing outstanding applications

  • Be able to show empathy when credit finance is declined to the customer

  • Chasing for any monies owed by declined credit finance customers

  • Manage finance customer deposits

  • Activate credit finance customers on the CRM system clearing down any outstanding invoices

  • Data Tracker population for Credit Finance customers

  • Assisting the finance team when the need arises

  • Assisting the operations planning department when the need arises


Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C)

  • Ambitious and willing to learn

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills both written and verbal

  • Confident

  • Polite and friendly

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package


Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 9am to 5.30 (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Total hours paid: 40 hrs per week

Hourly Rate: £5.28
