
AGL Training Ltd is looking to recruit a Business Administration Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Kinver.
Our Client is a leading National provider of customised workplace well-being consultancy, training and services. They help organisations to maximise employee performance by helping them to identify the negative costs associated with individual health risks. This is achieved by establishing the health status of the company, including the health risks and potentially unhealthy behaviours of individual employees.
The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 15-18 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards

Level 3 Highfield Diploma in Business Administrator

Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Mathematics
General Duties
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
-
Assisting the Operations team with general administration duties
-
To use and maintain appropriate filing systems – all events are to be saved on a shared drive
-
Ensure that our event management system (teamleaf) is kept up to date with all event details
-
To provide a first point of contact for telephone enquiries and visitors
-
Create name badges for job packs
-
Book accommodation
-
Purchase equipment as required
-
Maintain facilitator files
-
Assist in maintaining office files/policies
-
Oversee training days as / when required
-
Organisation of meetings and appointments, including invitations, accommodation, hospitality, preparation of agendas, minutes and reports, and where appropriate to produce minutes, reports, presentations and other follow-up action.

Couriering of equipment to and from client venues

Data download – download data off laptops, clear database and pass on data to Ops Manager

Ensure that SOPS are made for all new processes/update any SOPS that change

Pack equipment and resources ready for our health events

Support clients as required (confirming details etc)

Set up online booking links

Assist the marketing manager with:

Mailshot campaigns

Promotional material
-
Database updates
-
Social media campaigns
-
Maintain a tidy work environment
Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:

GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C)

Ambitious and willing to learn

Confident
-
Polite and friendly
-
Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Total hours paid: 37.5 hours paid
Hourly Rate: £4.81
