AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit Systems and Admin Apprentice on behalf our well-established client based in Hixon, Stafford. Our client is looking for an apprentice to complete general office administration tasks and they would like you to become the person to fix I.T / Systems issues within the Business.



Our client is the UK’s leading manufacturer of anti-scald bathroom products and a major supplier to the heating and plumbing industries. Launched 12 years ago with a goal to make bathrooms safer, whilst remaining stylish and comfortable, their anti-scald agenda and commitment to energy efficient products has positioned it at the forefront of bathroom innovation.  

In addition to safe and stylish bathroom products, our client also launched its industry-acclaimed heating and plumbing arm three years ago. Covering everything from magnetic filters to thermostatic radiator valves, they have the products and high stock availability demanded by the markets it serves.


The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards

  • Highfield Level 3 in Business Administration Skills

  • Highfield Functional Skills in English and Maths


General Duties

You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:

  • General Admin functions:

    • Liaising with customers and colleagues

    • Filing

    • Scanning documents on to the server,

    • Stock takes on IT equipment

    • Printing,

    • Laminating

    • Answering and making calls

  •  Sales order inputting

  • Organising and collating spreadsheets on data,

  • Routine daily functions on the SAP system,

  • You will become the first one to fix I.T and system issues.


Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above would be desirable (or equivalent)

  • Ambitious and willing to learn

  • Confident

  • Polite and friendly

  • Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package

  • Basic admin skills

  • Great organisation skills

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:30am- 5:00pm- 1-hour unpaid lunch

Total hours paid: 37.5

Hourly Rate: £6.15
