Finance Office Administrator Apprentice

AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Finance Office Administrator Apprentice on behalf our well-established client based in Droitwich.

Our client are market leading flood experts, they are strong advocates of passive flood defence, where the design of products requires no people and no power to deploy.

The role will be helping in a small but growing office working mainly within the finance department, reporting to the Financial Control Administrator.

The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-18 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards

  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration Skills

  • Functional Skills English and Mathematics Level 2


General Duties

You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:

  • Attending to reception                  

  • Raising of Purchase Order

  • Taking telephone calls                  

  • Scanning

  • Checking purchase order requisitions

  • Delivering telephone messages 

  • Raising New Projects in Sage.

  • Assisting the Accounts

  • Filing

  • Photocopying

  • Helping in the organisation of open days with the testing tank facility


Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C)

  • Personable

  • Polite

  • Attentive

  • Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package


Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 9AM – 4.30PM

Total hours: 35

Hourly Rate: £8.00
