AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Hortonwood. If you are this could be the role for you, an immediate opportunity exists to join our client within their growing office, they are a long-established manufacturer of CD/DVD/Audio Cassette.


Our client’s head office is based in Telford. With the design, print and production all carried out here in the UK, or client is uniquely positioned to deliver a fast and reliable service all year round. They have a wide range of media products, packaging and production services. Our client also has duplication grade diskettes, audio cassettes, USB Flash Media, and more.


Our client has a large stock holding on all product lines to ensure that you can always get the professional discs their clients need, at competitive prices. They also offer in-house design and print facilities to meet all of their customer’s bespoke print and packaging needs.

The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme. 
During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:
•    Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards 
•    Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration Skills QCF
•    Highfield Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths

General Duties
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
•    Learning about the company's mission and available products/services
•    Liaising with customers, suppliers, and other departments, by telephone and by email.
•    Filing / Arching Information / Retrieving Information 
•    Scanning / Printing / Laminating
•    Collecting and sorting post
•    Preparing meeting rooms and taking minutes
•    Completing documentation.
•    Data Entry / Keeping company databases up to date.
•    Research, record and analyse information.     
•    Process customer orders. 
•    Designing and producing documents. 
•    Working within a team / working independently 
•    Adhering to company policy and procedure 

Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
•    GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Grade C)
•    Ambitious and willing to learn
•    Confident 
•    Polite and friendly 
•    Good knowledge of ICT / Microsoft Office Package 
•    Enthusiastic and positive person
•    Very accurate within their work
•    A good team player and communicator.
•    Tidy and organised 
•    A good telephone manner (experience preferred, not essential)


Working Hours 
Monday – Friday: 8.30 am until 5pm- 2 x 15minute breaks daily and one 30-minute lunch break.
Total hours paid: 40 
Hourly Rate: £5.50 ph.
