AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative Apprentice on behalf of our well-established client based in Halesfield, Telford.
Our client has over 30 years’ experience, exclusively in the United Kingdom, manufacturing car seats, bespoke custom trim and universal fittings.
The position is for an Apprenticeship, the position is initially 12-15 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standards L2

Highfield L2 Certificate for Supply Chain Warehouse Operatives
-
English and Maths Functional Skills Level 1 / 2
General Duties
You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:

To prepare products to a high standard, ready to be shipped to customers

Ensuring products match the order and customer specification

Completing and attaching ID labels to products and then recording data for quality purposes

Liaising with despatch to ensure correctly identified goods are shipped

Assembling of finished products prior to inspection and despatch

Working to a production schedule and ensuring items are available and ready as required

An ability to work on their own initiative

An attention to detail ensuring all products meet the required standards

Taking ownership of the department and the products passing through

Confident in their own abilities and able to work within a motivated team
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4.30pm
Friday : 8am – 4pm
Total hours paid: 40 hours
Hourly Rate: £5.30
