Apprentice Fleet Sales Administrator

AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit an Apprentice Fleet Sales Administrator on behalf our well-established client based in Osbaston, High Ercall.

Our client has been established for over 100 years; supplying over 70,000 new vehicles in 2018; teams with a wealth of experience; vehicle storage facility of up to 3,000 vehicles; supply and maintenance of commercial vehicles and refurbishment.


The position is for an Apprenticeship, working within the Fleet Sales Admin department, initially 12-18 months with the possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

  • Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standards

  • Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration Skills (RQF)

  • English and Mathematics Functionals Skills Level 2 (if required)


General Duties

You will receive training to enable you to:

  • Create document files in excel for new vehicle orders

  • Scan documents and maintain housekeeping of scanned document files

  • Update bespoke Fleet system & Kerridge, to ensure accurate data is maintained

  • Allocate registration numbers using the Nissan & Ford Manufacturer Systems

  • Order vehicle packs and accessories

  • Scan & save signed vehicle handover documents into excel folders

  • Prepare & complete Sales Invoices

  • Register new vehicles via the Nissan & Ford Manufacturer Systems

  • Cleanse, complete & archive scanned files upon completion of order

  • Process purchase invoices

  • Assist in all aspects of fleet administration


Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent (desirable)

  • Be meticulous with high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and be able to remain focused whilst processing high volume repetitive data entry

  • Hold strong IT skills / competent in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Be organised

  • Be a team player

  • Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn

  • Be flexible

  • Have initiative; be able to see the ‘bigger picture’, with a mature attitude and forward thinking.


Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm

Total weekly hours paid: 37.5
